How to solve the puzzles?

Click on a button to start the puzzle and wait untill the puzzle has loaded.
White lettered buttons refer to the latest puzzles!

PUZZLE OFF LINE
When the puzzle has loaded, you can close the Internet connection and play the puzzle off line.

CROSSWORD
Click on any cell in the crossword to activate the puzzle.
The active cell is displayed in red, the active word in yellow.
Any characters you type will be placed into the puzzle at the active cell. The focus cell will then move on to the next letter in the active word.
Click on the red cell with the mouse (or use the arrow keys) to change the direction: across or down.
Message
When you have solved the puzzle, a message will appear.

KRISS KROSS PUZZLE
Click on any cell in the kriss kross puzzle to activate the puzzle.
The active cell is displayed in red, the active word in yellow.
Solve the puzzle by typing the listed words into the lattice. Words entered into the puzzle are coloured gray in the word list.
Any characters you type will be placed into the puzzle at the active cell. The focus cell will then move on to the next letter in the active word. You can also click with the mouse on a listed word to add it to the lattice.
Click on the red cell with the mouse (or use the arrow keys) to change the direction: across or down.
Message
When you have solved the puzzle, a message will appear.

WORD FIND PUZZLE
The aim of this puzzle is to find the listed words in the jumble of letters. The words may be spelled backward or forward, up or down or they may be diagonal. When diagonal words are not used, the puzzle title is marked with an asterisk (*).
Point to the first letter of a word, hold down the mouse button, drag to the end of the word, and release the button.
Pointing to a word in the list and clicking will show you where that word is. A system of colour coding shows you the words you have found, and the ones you have 'peeked' at.
Hidden message
When you've solved the puzzle the hidden message will appear! You will also see a scorecard which gives you a count of words you found and peeked at, as well as the total time you took to solve the puzzle.
The hidden message does not appear
In some cases no hidden message appears after solving the word find puzzle. This can happen with a specific version of Java installed on your machine.
You can download the latest version of the so-called Java Virtual Machine for free from the Sun-website (link opens in a new window).

ZOOM
The zoom-button enables you to maximize the puzzle up to 200%. Note that when the puzzle is reloaded, all the words you've already typed will be deleted! If you have cookies enabled, the zoom level is saved and used when you open another puzzle.
